Apr 28, 2026 – Families today are parenting in a rapidly changing digital world. From trusted information and peer support to access to services and emerging AI-enabled tools, digital innovation is reshaping how families seek support, connect with communities, and navigate everyday challenges.
UNICEF, the Van Leer Foundation, and ECDAN launched the new Playbook on Digital Innovation for Supporting Families — a practical framework developed through a global expert dialogue to help governments, practitioners, innovators, and partners design more human-centered, equitable, and scalable digital support ecosystems for families.
The Playbook presented a clear roadmap for leveraging digital innovation across four priority action areas, including emerging technologies such as AI: trusted information and guidance; family empowerment and skill‑building; connection and community; and access to quality services.
The webinar explored how digital ecosystems can strengthen parental wellbeing, improve caregiving capacity, and ensure families are better supported in their everyday realities.
