March 31, 2026 – The Early Childhood Development Action Network (ECDAN), together with the Government of Rwanda, UNESCO, UNICEF, WHO, and the Africa Early Childhood Network (AfECN), is hosting a global convening from May 6-8, 2026, to uncover strategies for fundamentally reshaping how countries finance holistic services and systems for young children. This Global Technical Financing Forum is designed to support the Act for Early Years campaign and engage government representatives, influential leaders, investors, and development partners in a technical discussion on how barriers to financing can be overcome and creative financing solutions can be applied to ensure children receive the inventions they need across health, education, and social protection sectors in their earliest years of life. To help us prepare the overall agenda and individual sessions, we held a series of virtual town hall consultations.
