May 6, 2026 – The first day of the Forum began by framing the conversation and examining what we know about how the landscape has shifted, the scale of the problem, what services need to be funded. The discussion then moved to learn from governments directly about their experiences and was followed a deep dive into the story of Rwanda’s progress on investing in young children. The day ended with parallel sessions on how financing can be expansive, efficient, and equitable. In the evening, participants gathered for a networking dinner, complete with Rwandan traditional dancing, to continue discussing and building relationships.
