The ECE Accelerator Toolkit is a key resource that can help ensure that early childhood education (ECE) is systematically integrated into and strengthened within national budgets, cycles of education sector planning, and policy implementation.
Launched in 2021, the toolkit is a user-friendly “living platform” that contains technical guidance and tools, which can be adapted and contextualized to effectively support countries in the mainstreaming of ECE into national sector plans and budgets.
Recently, new sections of the toolkit have been developed to help advocates and governments with implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The features of the expanded toolkit were demonstrated during a webinar co-hosted by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), UNICEF, and ECDAN.
