August 30, 2025 – The Royal Foundation produced a report of public perceptions towards early childhood after analyzing the results of interviews with 5,352 adults across the UK. This is the fourth wave of the Annual Perceptions Survey. Where appropriate, it shows differences compared to the 2022, 2023, and 2024 surveys, which followed a similar methodology.
The report presents key findings in three areas: general trends, challenges facing parents, and social and emotional development.
