August 1, 2025 – The UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization published its annual report on food security and nutrition for 2025. The report warns that persistent food price inflation is worsening hunger and malnutrition, especially among low-income families, women, and children. It calls for coordinated action to strengthen agrifood systems and reignite progress toward ending hunger by 2030.
