April 6, 2025 – UNICEF developed this statistical report, together with the African Union Commission, and the UN Economic Commission for Africa, that offers a comprehensive overview of that status of children in Africa. It provides up-to-date data on key indicators including child mortality, health, nutrition, education, protection, and social policy. The Compendium is designed to support evidence-based decision-making, resource allocation, and advocacy, ensuring every child has an equal chance to thrive.
