July 25, 2025 – Hope and Homes for Children published an ECD report that was written with numerous other partners arguing that states are obligated to respect, protect, and fulfil child rights by investing in ECD policies and programs. The report emphasizes that this is particularly important for marginalized and vulnerable populations and children affected by emergencies, displacement, and disaster, who often experience server violations of their early rights. The paper provides recommendations to governments and advocates for the UN General Assembly to adopt a resolution for ECD.
