October 29, 2025 – Sadaf Qayyum, a Knowledge Fellow in the 2025 cohort, completed her project which was to create an advocacy brief to recommend actions that countries can take to become champions for young children within their climate response planning processes. The brief includes key messages and specific recommendations that link early childhood to the climate agenda to inspire countries to take action to provide nurturing care for young children within their national climate action policies, plans, and financing decisions. It also includes actions that countries can take collectively at the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) to prioritize young children within the global climate agenda.
