November 10, 2025 – Karin Noskova, a Knowledge Fellow in the 2025 cohort, completed her project which was to review the literature that describes lessons learned from experiences trying different approaches to investing in the early years, draw lessons learned, and formulate recommendations. She created a database of 49 publications from 2015 to 2025 that provide both quantitative and qualitative insights into financing mechanisms for interventions that promote ECD with evidence from over 50 countries. She then compiled key information into an advocacy brief that provides policymakers with a snapshot of financing pathways being tried in different countries, with promising examples, as well as recommendations to guide decision making when planning, implementing, and monitoring investments in the early years.
