December 2018 – This article published in BMJ describes how intersectoral collaboration between health, social protection, and education sectors enabled Chile Grows with You (Chile Crece Contigo) to help all children reach their full developmental potential. Chile Crece Contigo is a comprehensive protection system for children from the prenatal period to 4 years, taking advantage of every encounter between children and health services and providing coordinated services across different public sectors. The authors aimed to identify the factors that facilitated a national scale-up of Chile Crece Contigo, 10 years after implementation began, summarize progress, and identify lessons learned.
