June 30, 2026 – UNICEF produced a report that examines how Ghana invests in children from pregnancy through adolescence. It finds lower public spending in the earliest years despite strong policy progress, including the 2025–2035 Early Childhood Care and Development Policy. The report highlights opportunities to better align investments with evidence and improve equity and outcomes for children.
