December 15, 2025 – UNICEF and Parenting for Lifelong Health published a tool intended to help governments analyze the current landscape of parenting support in their country and plan for future expansion. It is meant to be used by regional or state-level planners as well as networks of parenting program providers and civil society organizations that advocate for the scale-up of universal parenting support.
The tool aims to provide a structured approach for analyzing the availability and quality of parenting policies, offering benchmarks that help self-identify strengths, gaps and areas for improvement in national efforts.
