June 17, 2025 – FHI 360 has produced multiple materials that provide information about the lessons they have learned from implementing a LEGO Foundation grant to research parenting programs in five countries. The project ran from 2020-2025 and sought to generate insights into implementing and scaling playful parenting programs globally. The FHI 360 team managed a community of practice with implementers in Bhutan (Save the Children), Guatemala (ChildFund), Rwanda (Boston College School of Social Work), Serbia (UNICEF), and Zambia (UNICEF). They collected data and distilled learnings to define what works for effective scaling and what impact interventions have on caregivers, service providers, and children.
They have published a summary evidence brief, fact sheet, and country specific briefs for Bhutan, Serbia, and Zambia. They also disseminated lessons learned in a global webinar.
