Learning is For Everyone: Global Report

June 30, 2026 – UNICEF has published a global report that examines what it takes to build education systems that work for all learners. Drawing on evidence from Cambodia, Djibouti, Kyrgyzstan, Mozambique, Nepal, and Paraguay, the report synthesizes the findings of the Learning is for Everyone (LiFE) research initiative, a multi-country study examining how education systems can better respond to the needs of children with disabilities and learning differences. Combining system-level analysis with the experiences of children, parents, teachers, head teachers and policymakers, as well as a targeted literature review and secondary analysis of learning data, the report provides a comprehensive picture of the barriers and opportunities for implementing disability-inclusive education. It also offers evidence-informed recommendations for governments, partners and education stakeholders working to advance inclusive education at scale.
