
February 2025 – An evidence review published by Prevention Collaborative suggests that enhancing the mental health of parents and caregivers should be part of a comprehensive strategy to prevent violence against children. The review recommends three approaches to strengthen their mental health: parenting and caregiver support programs, response programs for parents at risk of or experiencing poor mental health, and socioeconomic strengthening strategies.
