October 14, 2024 – The Government Outcomes Lab (GO Lab) is a research and policy centre based in the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. They were created as a partnership between the School and the UK Government and we are funded by a range of organisations. Their role is to investigate how governments partner with the private and social sectors to improve social outcomes. Their website contains jargon-free introductory information about outcomes-based contracting, impact bonds, outcomes funds, and other approaches. It also contains a knowledge bank with data sets, case studies, and recent publications about outcomes-based contracting. For those interested in designing and managing outcomes-based projects there are tools and guidance as well as learning events, blog posts, and more.
