December 2018 – This toolkit was developed by UNICEF’s regional office for South Asia. It includes guidance on how to undertake a gender analysis, what needs to be in place to ensure gender is mainstreamed effectively, and how gender can be integrated into the child survival, child development, and related results. It is a practical resource to help all country offices in the South Asia region (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka) to plan and integrate the different needs, capacities and engagement of girls and boys, women and men in programs and outcomes.
