February 2022 – ECDAN Knowledge Fellow, Jorge Cuartas, together with his mentor, prepared a briefing document that brings together the latest research to make the case for why it is necessary to take action to stop corporal punishment of young children. The brief includes a definition of corporal punishment, data about its prevalence, evidence of the damage it causes, and strategies to eliminate its use.
