Early Relational Health

October 16, 2025 The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine published a consensus study report that provides evidence of the benefits of investing in early relational health to buffer the negative impact of adversity and help children, families, and communities thrive. The report highlights opportunities for practice, policy, and research to strengthen supportive relationships. It emphasizes asset-based approaches, family and community leadership, workforce supports, and cross-sector collaboration to promote early relational health across health care, education, and social systems.
