November 11, 2025 – UNICEF has published a brief ahead of COP30 that provides entry points for countries to integrate responses to children’s specific needs in key outcomes at the UN climate conference, in Nationally Determined Contributions, and National Adaptation Plans. Countries are due to submit their updated plans in 2025, so this is a critical moment to ensure children are included in climate policies, actions, and finance decisions.
