June 30, 2026 – The Moving Minds Alliance compiled and published a collection of reflections on the well-being and rights of young children affected by climate change. It champions the use of contextually grounded evidence, learning, and practice in ECD in crisis settings, while elevating locally led innovations in crisis response. The reflections challenge the reader to move beyond simply recognizing that climate change affects young children and toward understanding the specific pathways through which those impacts occur, the systems that can help buffer children from harm, and the actions needed to build resilience from the earliest years. Taken together, these reflections suggest an important shift for our sector.
