November 4, 2025 – Wamweru Muthara, a Knowledge Fellow in the 2025 cohort, completed her project which was to create an advocacy brief that informs policymakers of the multisectoral and multigenerational benefits of childcare and recommends policy actions and potential financing mechanisms they can use to increase access to high-quality and affordable childcare at the national level. The brief provides examples of different countries in the global majority that have taken action to strengthen childcare systems, which can inspire and inform action in other contexts.
