September 1, 2026 – The second episode of Moving Minds Alliance’s Early Evidence series explores what it takes to sustain and scale mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) in protracted crises.
Hosted by Jamila Razzaq, the episode features Phiona Koyiet of World Vision International and Shekufeh Zonji, Global Technical Lead at ECDAN. They discuss how MHPSS can be embedded within existing education, health, social protection and early childhood development systems, with a focus on government ownership, financing, workforce capacity, quality and accountability.
The conversation also explores the role and limits of social and emotional learning (SEL) and why safe, supportive relationships are central to young children’s psychosocial wellbeing.
