August 6, 2023 – The Kenyan newspaper, The Standard, published an opinion piece written by ECDAN staff, Lucy Minayo and Brett Weisel, about why they attended the Women Deliver conference to highlight the issue of childcare as a key factor in women’s equality. The conference was held in Kigali, Rwanda, in July and ECDAN co-organized three events with partners.
One of the issues where the needs of children and women are inherently linked is through childcare. We went to Women Deliver to explore, highlight, and reinforce those linkages.
