May 2025 – GPE KIX, a joint initiative of Global Partnership for Education and International Development Research Centre (IDRC) released a research synthesis on early childhood education, featuring insights from eight applied research projects—including five cofinanced by The LEGO Foundation. The report highlights best practices in play-based learning, teacher training, gender equity, and community engagement. It also offers practical policy recommendations to help scale quality early learning. A policy brief and an infographic are also available to support government officials, policymakers, practitioners, and researchers in translating research findings into practical educational improvements.
