On November 3, the Collaborative on Global Children’s Issues at Georgetown University will host a virtual consultation with ECDAN members to discuss how to sustain progress for young children and families amid recent U.S. foreign aid cuts. This session builds on six months of dialogue with local organizations, experts, and advocates to identify pathways for collective action in a changing funding landscape.
The consultation will present preliminary findings and recommendations from these discussions, gather stakeholder feedback to refine them, and identify priorities and strategies for implementing effective early childhood development responses.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in interactive, small-group discussions and ensure that local perspectives and lived experiences shape the final report.
