Early childhood care and education (ECCE) is fundamental for the holistic development and well-being of children. Despite its importance, ECCE remains under-prioritized across global, regional, and national levels, leading to significant inequalities in access and quality. This webinar responds to the need for robust monitoring of ECCE through a human rights lens and the active engagement of civil society.
The webinar will include:
- Introduction to the new RTE ECCE monitoring guide, designed to support civil society and stakeholders in tracking the right to early childhood care and education based on human rights standards.
- Insights on how to use the guide to identify violations, strengthen data collection, and advocate for quality ECCE for every child.
- An interactive discussion for participants to develop a draft monitoring plan tailored to their context.
