On October 29, a learning webinar will explore how to transform the over 800 commitments made at the Global Disability Summit 2025— including 100 focused on inclusive education—into concrete actions. The session, supported by the International Disability and Development Consortium (IDDC), the GLAD Network Inclusive Education Working Group, and the International Disability Alliance (IDA), will bring together governments, organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), and partners to accelerate progress toward inclusive education for learners with disabilities, including in humanitarian settings.
Drawing on the Amman-Berlin Declaration, which calls for disability-inclusive development and humanitarian action through the “15 percent for the 15 percent” target, the webinar will emphasize the importance of meaningful OPD engagement and collaborative partnerships. Participants will have the opportunity to share perspectives, review the post-GDS 2025 roadmap, and discuss ways to turn commitments into real change.
