On October 21, 2026, WHO and HIGH Horizons will host a webinar exploring the impacts of heat exposure on maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH). The session will present the latest evidence, priority indicators for measuring heat-related impacts, and country examples of approaches to protect MNCH from heat stress. It will also launch a joint WHO, WMO, UNICEF, and UNFPA publication and policy brief on priority indicators, while highlighting actions to reduce heat stress in health facilities and support health workers’ wellbeing.
