Systems Thinking for ECD Collaborative
The Systems Thinking for ECD Collaborative is a dedicated coalition of executive leaders and technical experts from seven prominent child development and systems thinking organizations in Africa and Asia. Convened as part of ECDAN’s Systems Thinking for ECD initiative in 2023, the members work together to catalyze adoption of systems approaches by strengthening the capacity of local partners and government bodies, facilitating learning exchange and collaboration, convening technical experts and thought leaders, and supporting research and advocacy efforts to inform policy and practice. Their work aims to help young children, especially those in extreme adversity, achieve their full potential by creating more effective and sustainable ECD programs and policies. To date, this group has led the development and application of the Childcare Systems Map and contributed to webinars on the topic, including supporting the masterclass series that reached a wide, global audience.
