Hien has dedicated herself to living with and helping poor and vulnerable children and women in remote communities for the past three decades. She started at OneSky in 2017 to launch a program that provides long-term training for thousands of early childhood caregivers in different provinces of Vietnam, reaching children under six of workers in the industrial zones. In her role as Country Director, Hien works with OneSky’s global leadership to develop a strategic plan for the country program and cooperates with the Vietnam Central Government to scale up the program nation-wide. Prior to joining OneSky, she worked for World Vision and East Meets West foundations in the mountainous and rural areas of Vietnam. Hien holds a bachelor’s degree from Danang Pedagogic University as well as a master’s degree in educational management from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
