Gilbert joined the National Child Development Agency in November 2020. Previously, he held positions as the Education and ECCD Program Manager at Plan International Rwanda and the Deputy Director of the Centre for Instructional Technology at the National University of Rwanda. He also founded an educational technology company, IDEMBE Ltd. His work focuses on leveraging innovative methods and technology to improve early childhood development and close knowledge gaps. He holds a master’s degree in education with a specialization in educational technology.
