Gacheri is a seasoned medical doctor, public health expert, entrepreneur, and non-profit leader with over 20 years of experience designing and leading large-scale programs across health, education, gender, and social protection sectors. Most recently, she served as Regional Director for East and Southern Africa at IDinsight, where she led the development of the first regional strategy, drove revenue growth of over 150 percent in just two and a half years, and spearheaded digital, health, and women’s empowerment initiatives across Africa and India. Her career spans roles at McKinsey & Company, Centre for Health Solutions–Kenya, and consulting engagements with UNOPS, WHO, and The Global Fund.
