Charlie is the global co-lead for Dalberg Advisors’ education practice, based in Nairobi. Drawing on his background as a qualified teacher, he combines practical education experience with strategic expertise to develop new approaches to education. He currently leads the Education Finance Network, a global community of practice that brings together foundations, impact investors, researchers and practitioners to increase private resources supporting education systems in low- and middle-income countries. The network is currently running a working group on innovative finance in ECD. Charlie recently supported the Global Partnership for Education to refresh its innovative finance strategy as well as supported Partnerships for Change to scale their early childhood care and education model across Ethiopia.
