Before joining ECDAN, Carol worked with Youth Agenda, Save the Children, Oxfam, Global Communities, and UN OCHA, building organizational brands and driving behavior change communication across diverse contexts. Her expertise spans development communication, PR, digital media, branding, and advocacy communications. She published her first academic paper on gender portrayal and consumer behavior in 2017. Carol is passionate about the power of storytelling to advance equity and social change. She mentors emerging leaders through the Good Kenyan Foundation, demonstrating her commitment to empowering the next generation of communicators and changemakers across Africa. Her work has been featured in prominent Kenyan publications, and she has received regional awards recognising her contributions to communications and photography. She holds a First-Class Honors Degree in Communication Studies from St. Paul’s University and an MA in Strategic Corporate Communications from Daystar University.
