Boniface is an established early childhood development (ECD), child protection, education, and parenting expert with over 23 years’ work experience in designing and managing development and humanitarian programs. He currently works as an ECD Specialist at UNICEF Headquarters in New York where he leads the global nurturing care, financing, and partnerships components of the ECD program. Previously, he worked as an ECD Specialist in the UNICEF Rwanda, Malawi, Sierra Leone, and Tanzania country offices. Prior to joining UNICEF, he managed different ECD, child protection, education, HIV and AIDS and livelihoods programs at Save the Children and UNDP. Boniface’s passion is to see increased investments in early years to give all young children the best start in life.
